The Father, who adopted Jeremy, was in the RAF fighting for our freedom and was a friend of the father of my close friend RAF and Military Attache who lived in the village, The friends of the parents, who did have their "drinks partys, never doubted that it was Jeremy. Indeed they were delighted when they were told that Jeremy would be arrested on his return from Holland. I never realised though that his school chums were so callous
I think that ITV has done a tremendous job with such a harrowing event. Jeremy, in his own world, still believes that he is innocent, not because he didn't do it but he thinks he committed the "perfect murder". I believe that it would be dangerous for Jeremy to ever be released.
Essex Police have a fundamental problem. When a young girl was run over on a train line from Witham to Banbury they falsely stated that they had checked the tracks. They had not. The body was spotted by a sharp eyed train driver several days later.
Chief Constable, apparently, took early retirement.
Jobbing Detective, harassed by senior Police stuck to his guns.
WELL DONE ITV
