Netflix has knocked it out of the park with their production of The Witcher. As one who has played all the games (haven't read the books) I wasn't sure what to expect. Very rarely has a video game, especially as iconic as the Witcher series, been able to translate well to the screen. This time around though, they did it. Henry Cavill does an amazing job as Geralt and the supporting cast doesn't lack behind. Some of the casting is questionable, but I don't have a real problem with it as some of the hardcore fans out there have expressed on the internet.
Although the series jumps back and forward between multiple timelines, they did a great job wrapping it all up by the end. They do this so that we can follow the character arc of not just Geralt, but also Ciri and Yennefer, major characters in the games.
Can't wait for seasons to come, the hole left by GOT has been filled for this fan.
