I'm trying to be fair about my opinion of this movie. After 45 minutes I could not watch anymore after most of the characters are saying the F bomb as if it was "Mary had a little lamb" Does the use of foul language make it a good movie to watch? If the story is true as presented this is one dysfunctional family that presents mountain folk as crude members of society. It may have a great ending and message but this one is not for me. I wonder how the film was received by the residents of Middletown OH and Jackson KY.

Predictable script, uninteresting characters and easy to figure out episode endings. Too many Adrian Dunbar songs. Murder mysteries should keep you engaged as each episode unfolds...Ridding myself of "Ridley"

On of the very best original series I have ever watched. Sad I have just finished watching but hopeful for another season. I love the humility of "Andy" and the wit and wisdom of "Lance". More I say, More!

As fine a movie as "I remember Mama" this classic hearkens back to those days when life was hard to live in the New York tenements of Brooklyn. James Dunn is magnificent as the alcoholic father of two children who lives in a dream world of broken promises of a better life that will never materialize. Watch it to the end to experience a rainbow that follows the tragic stormy end.
