If you liked Double iSmart (2024), you might enjoy this series. But if you want something better and more logical, watch Mayaavan/Project Z (2017) instead and skip this series to save time. If you just need something on in the background while working, this series could do the job.
--- SPOILER ALERT ---
The Mystery of Moksha Island follows a scientist who, obsessed with living forever, fakes his death and invites over 20 people to his island, claiming he will select a CEO and distribute his wealth. In reality, he’s seeking a perfect DNA match from his family to transfer his consciousness. However, the setup is illogical—many of the guests, including in-laws and stepchildren, have no genetic relation to him. Instead of discreetly running DNA tests through his vast network without anyone knowing, he orchestrates a deadly game. After finding a match, he plans to murder the rest, including innocent bystanders like a U.S. citizen. Worse, the potential match could have been accidentally killed during staged haunting scenes, making his elaborate plan pointless. The scientist’s irrational actions undermine the premise, turning what could’ve been a smart sci-fi thriller into a confusing and senseless mess.
