I wish i never watched this. I am shocked to know that this series was wrote by a black man it was awful. I must admit i only have limited knowledge of black American history but this seemed to be a 10 episode series of blatant unjustified resurfaced racism. Betty’s role was totally irrelevant to the show. The the final scene to say was a joke would be an under statement for 2 minutes of black power with a stupid song added for effect. Are black people only seen as standing up for justice after going through horrific circumstances. Although many aspect of the racism in this series still goes on today in every black persons life does not mean we would like to re- live this by watching it on a tv show to this horrific extent. Another black person creating racism for entertainment of racists a real let down.
