I'm a late bloomer for this show. Was recommended to watch it 3 months ago, and put it off thinking it was like every other western. Last week I started watching and I'm hooked and nearly finishing Season 2 right now. Excellent show, great cast, action and just hooking you in.

Hands down, my favorite show. Technically this and Vikings are my two #1 shows. Way better than Game of Thrones. Don't get me wrong, GOT was good, however I find the continuity between the actors and their characters with The Last Kingdom and Vikings to be much stronger. The fact that there is a little actual history sprinkled on top of the storyboard is a nice bonus. The story line, chemistry that the actors bring in front of the camera and videography rocks. I have watched the entire 4 seasons 2x. I'm going to take a month or two off breather and come back for the third time around. Great shows like this are a fine example of why I keep my Netflix subscription active!
