After seeing this movie, I felt just as let down as I did when I witnessed the unfortunate series finale of Game of Thrones. Some of the characters from the first film were completely ruined, and the plot in its entirety made me smack my head into my palm with disappointment. The animations? Visually stunning. The performances? Beautifully carried out by the actors and actresses. But the story itself? It really did not live up to J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter book series, or their films. The film had too many characters, plot changes, and failed to truly surprise and delight it's audience. The first film is enjoyable, but the Fantastic Beasts franchise ceases to impress.
