Good movie expertly crafted and great acting. Even though they cover the misogyny in this movie which takes place in 1997 the country has done little to address this as it is still very bad in 2024. You would think that in 28 years they might just drop the "men are superior" stance. No wonder their birthrate is so low, who wants to get married to these men.

The first season was excellent. It's been downhill ever since. This last season was barely watchable. How this got labeled a comedy is one of the great mysteries in life.

Most television this these days is pretty bad and this is actually pretty enjoyable series. Yes, there are some flat spots and some of the dialogue is a little questionable but on the whole it's a very watchable series and I have enjoyed it. I'm really happy when I come across something that is a limited series. Most programs today can't hold together for 12 episodes.

I liked the books and I liked the Tencent series and I like the Netflix series. Netflix diverges a bit from the book but that is ok. If you want it to be just like the book go for the version Tencent produced. But stop the complaining I want a second season!

Very big on visuals. The adherence to history was fleeting. It did show the horrible cruelty that we have put upon horses.
