Absolute garbage. I tried to like the show so bad, but it's awful. I want to be a lawyer one day and although I knew it wasn't going to be an accurate representation of that, I really didn't expect it to be this bad. Every single one of the characters is completely unlikable and everytime you start to tolerate them, they either die or do the dumbest thing you could possibly think of. I understand that it is supposed to represent how humans are capable of doing some of the most horrendous things but it didn't make much sense to me that the writers never attempted to redeem any of them of any of It. The only one that I found decently tolerable was maybe Oliver, but even he had his moments.

I think it left me conflicted. I didn't really like the main character throughout the movie bc he's definitely manipulative and misogynistic, but there's alot of nuance to it. The movie almost plays off of the main pixie dream girl trope but in a way that feels a little more realistic because we know that actual people don't exist like that. I feel like it would have been a little more impactful towards to that point if the writers would have lead more into that instead of trying to redeem the main character and then repeating his mistake by the end anyways. I think the idea is that he gets another chance to let her be herself, but that doesn't fix any of the the problems he had with her to begin with. It's also a little hard to look at this movie like some kind of cute love story by the end of it because he's the only one aware that he tried to control her previously in the realtionship so they're already off to a bad start.
