Everyone is so mad at the way she was portrayed but at the end of the day that’s what makes it so relatable. Real people make dumb decisions everyday, we live and we learn. She’s 25 and haven’t had very many role models, she was in a verbally abusive relationship which I’m sure stirred up some insecurities. As a young single mom of 2, I think the writers, directors and actors did a great job highlighting some of the problems we face. From the welfare situation and having to find someone that accepted vouchers to the childcare situation, having a grant but still having a co pay that she could barely afford, to counting down the money she had to spend despite how hard she worked. Even her wanting to to peruse her dreams to be a writer despite all the obstacles. I’m loving this series. Wish there was more like it
