Terrible waste of time. Violent, misogynistic and low budget series.

This series was poorly conceived. The last thing I needed was more vicarious racial trauma. I am so tired of seeing an innocent black man unjustly accused of a crime and needlessly suffering the consequences of a small indiscretion, when a white person is sheltered from the major crime. I get enough of that on cable news and the media in real life.

Really sweet family movie. Perfect for the holidays.

These wonderful women deserve to be honored with a movie. Lifetime did a good job presenting their early lives, careers, and the impact their mother had on each member of the group. More than anything this movie is a tribute to the Clark Sisters' mother, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, who is the actual queen of modern gospel.

The bond between Cookie and Luscious kept me hooked on this show. Now, Cookie asking for a divorce and disliking Luscious makes no sense and ruined the show for me. She has been begging him to be the husband she wanted since season one...Now, he is all in but she is flaking. All the storylines have promise, but none seem to be played out logically. For example, why is Tiana not back with Hakim? Why is Andre sabbotaging his father immedistely after they fought to get their company back? These random storylines are very confusing.

Love the characters, but I hope they give Jessica stronger story lines next season.

I am a huge Angela Basset fan. This show is a perfect vehicle for her talent. I also like the quirky humor that is classically Ryan Murphy. Great show with a different twist and a very refreshingly modern storyline.
