This film is so god-awful that the original Michael would've slit his own throat if Laurie had this in her house of traps in the 2018 film. Michael is made into a lumberjack beast that either tanks every attack or goes into a coma every time he stubs his toe. Loomis is a massive jerk that only cares about money and not the safety of those around him, unlike Donald Pleasance's Loomis who stopped at nothing to keep people safe. It completely disrespects the legacy of Halloween and makes a disgusting mess of a franchise. Thank Christ that Halloween 2018 fixed this franchise.
