I finally saw it through taking the DVD out from my library. To be honest, I didn't care for it, and I love musicals and enjoy seeing Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. I just couldn't get into it. I found myself bored and didn't feel very engaged. I also felt that the ending was a big letdown..so the DVD packaging/images and what it insinuates, is rather misleading. All that said, the cinematography is stunning and there were a couple of scenes that drew me in, but overall, I sadly couldn't wait for the movie to end. Maybe if I see it a couple more times I will have a change of heart, but for now, I have to say that it was a waste of two hours for me. 🙁
