The film was a decent look at choices that may face young girls in Senegal.It's about an 11year old trying to find her identity and life in a world that she finds constrictive.. It is worth watching. Forget the controversy about the poster. The poster is not representative.

An excellent movie,that will have you exploring different ideas for days.It is so much more than a simple horror film. Not everyone will get it and some will reduce it to just another people dying horror movie. But the subtext of this movie is everything, the horror is not the killing so much as who is doing it. Ultimately the film explores a lot of areas from the original sin of slavery, to genocide, captivity, run away science and nature vs nurture. Go see it.
