As an adaptation, it gets characters wrong and pads out time it didn’t need to tell the story. As its own show, the dialogue is dull and unfunny apart from the cringey lines and the action scenes feel awkward and stiff. Overall, the show feels like an amateur’s attempt at an adaptation without seeing or respecting the source material.
