Great book. Very powerful, teaching lots of lessons in appreciation of our own innocence and mortality, childish inscience, identity, and appreciation. It is well written, with a captivating story flow. All of this being said, it is very realistically written, making it very hard to read, as while fictional, it is still extraordinarily depressing. The story is both hard to read, yet captivating, making it extremely intriguing. I would suggest that school teachers stop using it in Grade 7-10 as depending on the maturity and emotional stability of a child, it could be scarring, or at the very least difficult to read, bringing up a lot of things that a young child may not yet be able to process correctly.
