Very formulaic. Good cast trying to work with hokey dialogue.

A fun read although the pieces fit together in a fairy-tale way. The characters are engaging and the food descriptions make the reader long to smell and taste the amazing cuisine.

A quality, heart-tugging story about the harsh side of life as viewed by an abandoned dog. Touches of humor make the journey bearable.

Very entertaining and eye-opening. Shulman is a clever wordsmith and has much research to back the case studies he presents with the history of Hollywood and the Academy as an amazing backdrop of art vs commerce.

One of my favorite books from our book club. Wonderfully written and an ongoing joy to devour.

Excellent cast. Hepburn is amazing as Amanda, the overbearing mother.

Beautiful but a bit on the soapy side. Sir Patrick is worth watching.

It's bingeworthy but not high quality. Lots of suspicious characters and subplots. Gets a bit repetitive with lots of car drivi ng scenes. If you're like me you will figure out who the murderer is before the reveal.
