I listened to all the songs and I have to say I love the album, Selena and her team did such an amazing job with this album. 'People you know' is my personal favourite, it is so well articulated and relatable that it felt like she had just shone a light on all my past friendships. This song made me understand that I didn't know the people I used to consider close and I didn't realise that until now because, I always thought that I haven't talked to this person and this person in years but I still know them .. right. Wrong!! I don't know anything about them anymore and they don't know anything about me because people change and move on and "people you know" made me realise that I should move on too and start living instead of hanging around in the past. This album is amazing and really relatable, each and every song brings a different feeling and to me, that's really uncommon for me to relate and like every song on an album. 5 years for a new album is a long time but 'rare' is well worth it.Congrats Selena this album is a banger ♡

I read the book first, Its one of the best books I’ve ever read.Then I watched the movie and both of them made me cry and aggravated but most of all it made me aware.Aware of things that happen in society that I’m lucky enough to adviod.It made me aware of how powerful my voice is and how lucky I am.It made me aware that I have the power to change may not be black or poor or anything like that but I want to fight for people in situations like these.This movie made my heart break, the acting was amazing and Amandla was amazing the whole cast was amazing.This movie is everything!!!! It’s a must see.
