Truly one of Disney’s best live action remakes, if not THE BEST. Halle’s got a voice of an angel, I mean her voice alone is enough to make me rate this movie a 10/10. Jonah was amazing. Killed his song, I was pleasantly surprised and hypnotized by his singing! Melissa killed it as Ursula. Lol, I can’t stop laughing like her now! Daveed’s attempt at a Jamaican accent was good enough, it grow on me throughout the film. And you could tell Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote scuttle’s song! I LOVED IT! Just everything about the movie. The cast, the songs, the story, the CGI, everything was oh so PERFECT 10/10. BRAVO!

Now I’m not saying this is the best cdrama ever, but that’s exactly what I’m saying. I started this drama ONLY because of Zhao Lusi, when I read the plot I was like “eh this ain’t for me” but little did I know this drama was EXACTLY FOR ME! I mean it’s literally my definition of a perfect drama omg. I loved EVERYTHING about it. I loved loved LOVED Zhao Luis’s character (Shaoshang)! She’s quick witted, SMART AS HELL, and adorable! I loved how she not only stood up for herself but also for her loved ones and when she loved, she loved hard. She’s quite literally the definition of a ride or die. My favorite thing about her was when she was shown the least bit of kindness, she showed kindness back tenfold and same goes for those who messed with her, let me tell you something, you mess with that little girl, SHES MESSES WITH YOU BACK TENFOLD! Mhmm that’s right! I stuck by girlie’s side the entire show! Another thing I loved was the relationship between Yang Yang and Shaoshang, the writer could’ve easily made them revivals and hate each other (like other dramas), but they loved and protected each other, same goes for the empress and consort. There were multiple scenes where I thought they were gonna turn on each other but never did! It was so refreshing! AND don’t even get me started on my SISTER QIQI! Loved her too! And Leo Wu, oh Leo Wu. He has made a fan out of me let me tell you that right now. He is a phenomenal actor, the way his character ( Zisheng) looked at Shaosang is the heart eyes emoji personified! Like he really did that. Every time Zisheng looked at Shaoshang I just couldnt help but swoon! Those looks he gave her during their small interactions in the first half of the show was enough for me to get over the fact that they barely interacted. And even tho his character was intimidating as hell, rigid, and kinda crazy, his love for Shaoshang was oh so sweet and admirable! Damn near made me cry. Oh and when Shaoshang started to love him back…UGH, talk about the cutest pair ever! P.S. What a beautiful funny ending! BEST DRAMA EVER! BRAVO! 💕

Let me just start off by saying this show was not AT ALL what I expected. I really didn’t know what to expect, but I loved this drama a lot more than I thought I would. I loved everything about it. It was so engaging, so fun, and so funny! With each passing episode it got more and more interesting. The female lead Hong Cha-young was absolutely adorable, loved her. The tenants at the plaza were SO FULL OF SURPRISES MY GOODNESS. AND Vincenzo, I got impressed by that little guy every damn episode, he’s so clever and the way he somehow got a lot of people on his side throughout the show... EVEN THE DAMN PIGEONS HAD HIS BACK LIKE ?!? You can’t get any more influential than that. Three things I especially loved was 1. How Vincenzo and the tenants slowly started to become like a family. He had his own little Korean mafia which I found sooo cute! 2. How often Vincenzo kept winning. Like he just kept winning, it was so satisfying. Often times in shows it’d be the latter that’d keep on winning until like the last few episodes but from the beginning of this show to the end, most situations went his way, he was highly favored. And 3. Ok Taec-yeon did a fabulous job portraying a psychopath with a Jekyll and Hyde like persona. I mean wow. He really had me fooled with the innocent, naive act he put on. Taec-yeon was perfect for this role! Just the way this whole show was carried out was absolutely fabulous! And the whole concept of fighting evil with evil was genius. So happy for its success! VERY MUCH HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 100/10. 브라보! Ottimo! P.S. In episode 19, on 5:24, where Ahn Gi-Seok is hitting one of the men, if you look at Song Joong-Ki and Jeon Yeo-bin in the background, you can see them laughing 😂

Exquisite, Magnificent, Remarkable, these are just the few words to describe this drama. I mean the theatrics is just incredible. It had me hooked the very first episode and had an iron clad grip on my attention for the rest of the show. This show contains two things that could ruin a drama for me and that’s misunderstandings and love triangles. This show had plenty of those, but I was too damn intrigued to care. The love story of Xufeng and Jin Mi was heart wrenching, yet beautiful. Before watching Ashes of Love, I’d never seen such a powerful love story, I just can’t put into words how amazing it was. This drama also has a VERY poetic feel to it, which I just absolutely LOVE, and part of the reason why, is because of the soundtrack. It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s my favorite soundtrack on a show EVER. It made the show all the more better. And bravo to the actors and actresses. They did a fabulous job bringing their characters to life. I could feel every emotion of each character so kudos to them. Also I may or may not have developed a crush on Deng Lun, I mean cmon the man is gorgeous. This show was my very first Chinese drama that I watched and I will forever be glad for stumbling upon this gem. I watched this drama last year in June and with the countless C-dramas I’ve watched, this one still remains my #1.

There’s only one word to describe this show and that is fun. This show is so so...so so FUN. Every minute, every second, of each episode I was so thoroughly entertained. I’m not sure what type of crack they put into this show, but I am very much addicted. On just episode 5, I already didn’t want the show to end. It was awesome!! I was worried about how a show like this was going to end, but I was really pleased with the ending! Lol, It may have been childish of me, but whenever the Queen and King had an intimate moment and “Mr. Queen” couldn’t stop himself and just went with it made me giggle...A LOT. Especially ( SPOILER ALERT ) the ramen scene, HA! Genius! Oh I’ve never been so glad to wait for a show to finish, so I could binge watch it, because this show is definitely binge-watch worthy and it would be a shame to miss out on it. I’d also like to commend Shin Hye-Sun for her excellent acting. The way she executed her role of a modern day man stuck inside a woman’s body, and not just any woman’s body but a Queen from centuries ago, was flawless. I absolutely adored her character. And Kim Jung-Hyun, my goodness gracious, I’ve seen his performance in a few dramas, from Waikiki, to The Rebel, to Crash Landing On You and he was great in all of them, but his performance in this drama is by far his best, I mean I was blown away. The way he portrayed a King with a Jekyll and Hyde like persona was no less than perfect. I LOVED LOVED LOVED his character. Props to both of them, seriously. And their CHEMISTRY ???? Oh don’t get me started. They deserve every bit of praise that comes their way. This is seriously one of the best, if not, THE BEST drama I’ve ever watched. BRAVO! ☺️💕

This is one of my top favorite sageuk drama’s and just drama’s overall. This drama was heartbreaking yet exciting and refreshing. One of the things I REALLY LOVED about this drama was the second female lead ( Yoon So-hee ). Even though her character confessed her feelings for the male lead ( Yoo Seung-ho ) and got rejected and she knew there was already someone else he loved, she didn’t for one second turn bitter and try to get in between Yoo Seung-ho and Kim So-hyun’s characters, nor did she plot to kill Kim So-hyun’s character, all she wanted was for the man that she loved to be happy, and she would do anything to keep him safe and happy. That really stuck with me because I cannot tell you how many dramas I’ve watched where that is never the case in a love triangle. I mean seriously it’s the same old tedious and pathetic dynamic every time, so I was really happy with the writer and the director for going in that direction with that character. [SPOILER ALERT] It’s a shame she had to die tho, I didn’t like that part :/. I also LOVED the ending, it was really beautiful :”) And another thing, EVERYBODY’s acting was superb! From the lead actors, to the supporting, even the little kids! It might be the phenomenal acting or the intriguing storyline, or perhaps both but this drama has a very poetic feel to it. Highly Recommended.

This drama is underrated. I know it was one of the most popular kdramas that aired last year, but the fact that I’ve literally looked up “Best Kdramas” and “Good/Great Kdramas to watch” multiple times and Fiery Priest wasn’t anywhere to be seen on the multiple lists I’ve looked at makes this show underrated. This show is pure GOLD, seriously, I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot. First off, if you love laughing than this show is a must, please take it from someone who’s life motto is “Laugh, as much as you can, as hard as you can.” You will NOT regret it, I swear to you on my life. It’s so FUNNY literally from start to finish. I watched this show because how funny people said it was, but I did NOT expect it to be this funny, goodness gracious. I’ve laughed so hard in each episode. Of course it’s not all hehehe, there are serious and seriously sad moments, and plot twists. Oh it’s also ACTION PACKED! Filled with scenes that makes you want to take up on martial arts. It’s a PERFECT example of a comedy, crime, and action series. What makes this show sooo appealing, besides that fact that it’s funny as hell and has cool fight scenes, is how fresh and new the plot is. The show’s about an unconventional priest who tries to bring justice to his fellow priest who got murdered. Now, when I say unconventional, I mean UNCONVENTIONAL. He can kickass, he’s extremely impatient and has anger issues, but he’s so freaking awesome! It does NOT get any more unconventional than that, but that’s exactly what makes his character and this show so enjoyable. You’ve never seen anything like it. It’s super refreshing. Props to Kim Nam Gil, seriously, he did a fabulous job portraying his character. This show deserves to be watched and praised! I really hope they make a season 2. Please Please Please if you’re even 0.000000000001% interested in this drama, just WATCH IT! You’ll be glad you did!

All I’ve got to say is, if you absolutely LOVE laughing like I do....you will NOT regret watching this show, I promise you. This show is by far the funniest drama, not kdrama, I’ve EVER watched. Not only that, but it’s also action packed and has romantic scenes that will make you swoon. It also has heartwarming, and sad plot twists. Everything about this drama, from start to finish was perfect! You will be glad you watched it and would want to watch it over and over again! Oh my goodness this show is so underrated I don’t understand. Action, Romance, Suspense, and most importantly Comedy! WHAT COULD BE MORE PERFECT?!? 10000000000000/10 Please Please Please watch it!

Okay let me just start off by saying this show is one of the best shows in television history. Seriously, this may just be my opinion but I am 100% right. I can’t begin to describe how much I love this show, my goodness it’s remarkable! The whole show was just so organized and well thought out. First, I just love the fact that this show mainly takes place in the courtroom and it focuses on how prosecutors not only send people to prison, but also the lengths they’ll go to, to save lives. It also shows how they’re some lawyers out there who’d defend ANYONE just for the money despite losing their humanity in the process. Second, I love how the two main leads work together to stop innocent lives from getting destroyed. It’s so satisfying! I cannot tell you how many times I cheered and jumped when justice was served on a silver platter! I don’t want to give too much away because I’d like for you to just watch it for yourself to see why I’m boasting about this show so much. It’d be a real shame to miss out on this drama, really. This show is so so excellent, so so so so sooooo excellent!! 1000000000000000000000/10 Recommend!

When I first read the plot of this show I was so confused because all I kept thinking was how is the female lead who barley knows how to express her emotions, has antisocial personality disorder and the male lead who barley received any love in his childhood and was forced to become an adult at such a young age suppose to heal each other ? But throughout the show, the way they healed each other’s wounds was done in such a flawless way I was awestruck. Some people think that the two main leads relationship was a toxic one which I get, I can absolutely see why they would think that, but I did not once thought that while watching the show, because the way I see it is they each had something the other one didn’t...I don’t want to give too much away but once you watch the show you’ll know what I’m talking about. What I loved more anything in this show was the stories that were told. The stories were absolutely beautiful and they made you think, like I learned A LOT from the stories that was told. I learned that our bad memories from the past that’s made us suffer are nothing to be ashamed of because they’re what makes us human and once you realize that, you might be able to move on with your life. I learned that if things are meant to happen, they will happen no matter what, there’s no way of avoiding it and you just have to face that with everything you’ve got. I learned that if we use our voices in the right way, we can quite literally save lives. Of course there are more lessons, but these are just a few I loved. This show is out of this world. The plot, cinematography, characters, lessons. This show is quite literally perfect. This drama really is not only devastatingly beautiful, but it’s also inspiring and educational. Plus it’s got some suspense, plot twists, and comedy ;). Oh! Also the acting was superb! 100/10 Recommend.
