The 5 star reviews have to be paid for or something. This movie was so bad. First 20 minutes were interesting, the rest of the movie was a ridiculous mess.

Yikes. I just finished episode 6 and this has been a MAJOR let down. While Bombay steals the show, and the reunion of the old ducks gave me some serious nostalgia, the rest of the show has been hard to watch. The dialogue is filled with cringeworthy jokes, there is some very bad acting (Evan morrow, ducks coach, ducks players, game changers players), and the story is bland, slow, and predictable. Not to mention, there is VERY little hockey. Another thing that makes it hard to watch is how bad the main character (who is supposed to be a very good hockey player) is at skating. I don’t think non-hockey players would notice, but it’s very obvious he is uncomfortable on skates. Why not use a stunt double?? I also don’t remember the original ducks being so bad. Any attempt to make an audience believe that the game changers team could become good is a serious stretch. They make the team over-the-top bad. Anyway, last episode was half decent let’s hope it’s better DUCKS FLY TOGETHER!

Cartoonish and corny action in the opening scene set the stage for what was to come. Gal Gadot is great as usual but the hole-filled plot and premise of the villain’s powers and motive made the movie seriously hard to watch. The middle of the movie got pretty slow. The fight scene between WW and Cheetah was silly. WW’s monologue accompanying the climax of the movie was downright cringe-worthy. The wife and I are currently regretting signing up for HBO max just for this movie.
