My “voluntary suspension of disbelief” was interrupted by many appearances of the camera! The little orphan girl who was 1st hidden in the laundry cart would have shown brightly if casted as Anne. Choreography was good, especially those performed by the children. It’s A Hard Knock Life was outstanding! Use of “language” certainty unnecessary in a children’s production. Loved the reference of Broadway coming back! A reflection of them and now. The “adult” main characters may have served the production better if they had been chosen from the many seasoned Broadway musical actors and actresses!! Overall, not bad, but no where near the excellence of other TV live productions we’ve seen in past years.
