I don’t get why all the reviews are so negative. I’ve seen this movie three times and I’ve loved it every single time. Emilia plays a trouble young woman who I find extremely relatable and Henry does a bang up job of playing a charming, enchanting stranger. The lighting and London backdrop adds to the magic of Christmas and very real issues are presented. The George Michael music chosen for this film have probably converted me to a big George Michael fan. I try to avoid trailers to not spoil the movie for me since anyone should know trailers just give away the best parts of the film so I was able to enjoy the plot twist while being tear-jerkingly blindsided. Have a little Christmas cheer, critics. If you go into this movie looking for a light-hearted Christmas rom-com, you won’t be disappointed.
