I don't understand the popularity of this show. Why is the coroner a better detective than the cop? Is that the way coroners function in the UK? Their continuous petty conflicts are a pain, they don't add anything of use to the show. Not very good.

We've only watched the first season. Wonder why it was so important to show the heroine's breasts so many times. She goes on and on like a liberated woman, not like a 1940's person. Jaime's 18th century personality, talking like a 20th century male, is unbelievable.

A terribly boring movie, full of cliches of its era.
