This is definitely my favorite Hallmark Christmas movie. The plot is different and doesn't use many of the Hallmark cliche devices. It happens in a real city, and not a magical Christmas town ..... where the main road gets blocked and phone service cuts out.
Katrina Law is an absolute gem who is instantly likable and believable. Her eyes and expressions are fantastic and she's not hard to look at. Her awkwardness when first meeting Aaron O'Connell's character is totes adorbs!
But there are so many little nice touches to this movie. The kids are great, and there's one seen where the reflection of the houses decked out for Christmas and a little girl both appear in the reflection of a car window. It's just magic!!!!
