All I here is "this isn't historically accurate". The beginning of the movie tells you it is not going to be. And how dare even compare it to King Arthur. It was so much more with better acting, fighting sequences, and the story and pacing was better. Sure, some of the fighting sequences we're a bit hard to believe, but we don't give game of thrones a thumbs down for dragons and zombie like wights do we? It was an excellent job by Egerton and Foxx and they were great on screen together. It was far better than the more historically accurate Russell Crowe version of Robin Hood from 2008, personally that was a sleeper pick. I personally enjoyed the new twist on it and hope that all the distaste for the movie does not prevent a sequel because this movie deserves one. It may not be the original, but it is time to think outside the box with movies like these.
