The main cast did a good job making the characters believable but the script is all over the place. Wait for streaming.

After Wonder Woman, I'd think MCU might learn a thing or two about making super heroine movies. Nope. It was a disappointing, bland movie. The audience was told the Skrulls were the bad guys but they turned out to be refugees later. I suppose you couldn't make the audience hate them too much, lest they lose sympathy later. Yon-Rogg, a Kree, while training Captain Marvel in combat skills in the beginning of the movie, kept winning. You knew another fight was coming between those two later and Captain Marvel was going to kick his butt. And all it took for this "Captain Meh" was 7 writers.
