Really weird movie. Also kinda racist. And just bad. It is kinda quirky doe.

This movie was just... confusing. And weird. The first part is interesting and intriguing but in the second half of the movie everything gets all weird and jumbled and confusing. And there's a part maybe 30 minutes from the end where there's this sudden sort of info-dumo that kind of reveals a huge but far-fetched point about everything going on. It seems like a random, weird nothing movie. Experimental and unique films can be really strong and really great, but this one is just... I don't even know what.

This movie is unbelievably frustrating. I wanted to watch a nice lesbian movie and this just... wasn't it. First off, the plot and timeline structure was just weird, like it was in two short bits of time but three years apart and no transition, which was kinda clumsy. There are good ways of doing a "[x] years later" transition, this was not it. Secondly, I'm infuriated by the fact that everyone danced around their feelings. Sure, they kissed- twice, but they never had the coming out arc or even just stopping the wedding telling everyone it was for one reason and secretly having a romance. The bride gets married in the end which was unsatisfying. I wanted to see an actual romance develop. Total waste of your time, do not watch it.
