The movie is 90% false. The producers never spoke to the family. They merely heard a version from the chauffeur's son, Tony and he romanticized the story and never reached out to the only blood sibling. The chauffeur was not prominent in Don Shirley 's life. He never contributed to the excellence or importance of Don Shirley. He was not an alcoholic. Feel good, yes but it is not the life story of Don Shirley, more about the life story of Tony as related by his son.
