A recent news report argued that the creators of the video game should only be focused on film writing in regards to their talent for drama (scrap the game), as they clearly are very gifted writers but I can't agree that this is better than the game. I dont mind the race change, or the little things they add such as Tess's new death or Bills romance, but the things that they skip I dont agree with. Things such as how Joel gets his injury, countless in game sneaking suspenseful experiences where they try to avoid the hunters, the many clicker confrontations they missed, the change of the environment (scenery/environment becomes a little more fake)... these reasons sound very boring and unnecessary but these moments for me were the best part of the game. Its not a bad show, the opening credits seem unoriginal which is unlike the last of us writers but the show itself is okay, definitely worth a watch but if you played the game you already know what I'm talking about. Nothing beats the original.

If you've about to watch this for the first time, you're probably not gonna like it. For some reason the perfect time to watch it was near when it was first released, this is because movies especially family based, have evolved into a different form since then, the storyline the humour the special effects. For me it was the nostalgia and the countless Jim quotes Ive used from this film since I was a kid that made me rate it the best. They sure don't make em like that anymore.

All the hype is right about this one. Don't feel forced to like it, even non gamers love this, it's fantastic. Difficult to play twice though, zero repitition, every mission is different, it's a once in a lifetime thing, it's the first game to go to when being in the Western mood. The greatest western experience. Multitudes better than the first, and the first was brilliant.
