Spoilers!!! Compared to TVD and TO, this show feels out of place. The entire tone seems overly childish by comparison and the villains are mostly underwhelming. Compared to Klaus, Dalia, Silas, etc, the necromancer feels like a joke character that was plucked from a cartoon and dropped into a show that he doesn't belong in. He spends most of of his time bragging about how diabolical his plan will be and telling people how he is the all powerful necromancer. He doesn't actually come off as someone that is even remotely intimidating and threatening. Then there's the main group of characters which also feel like they were plucked out of a cartoon. Going around proclaiming themselves the super squad and talking about how great they are at killing monsters. It's all just a whole lot of unnecessary fluff that takes away from what could be a great show. This whole tone isn't just limited to Legacies, more and more shows and movies are doing it even though it just takes away from the story.
