They can try to play off Art Linkletter’s success if they want, but it just isn’t working. When he did the show, it was about the KIDS. This latest version makes it all about the host. I understand why ABC cancelled it. It just isn’t very entertaining and the “kids” are more an afterthought than the focus of the show. I like Steve Harvey, but his show about amazing kids didn’t make it either because it was all about Steve. This host may be a good comedian but she is certainly no actress and is bringing a slow death to what could be a cute, uplifting show.
