I wanted to like it, but like the predecessors, it got too anti-white and racist for me. The "facts" that they were trying to share in their "educational moments" weren't all accurate either.
I also didn't care for the language and how they portrayed the family. Any black person that I know that spoke to their parents that way would have had a shoe thrown at their head and then beat down.
The titles of the episodes are #DumbAF. Literally every single episode it "because of slavery".
The Japanese were put in horse stalls and were given numbers instead of names... yet where is the outrage?
The Italians and Irish were slaves that were brought here and we not treated very well at all... where is the outrage?
Nowhere, because they got their freedom worked hard and made something out of their lives, they didn't just sit around blaming everyone for their lack of desire to do better and play the victim role.
This show is a perfect example of Victim mentality vs Victor Mentality. Top 1% of the world in wealth, power, etc yet still complaining and blaming "The White Man" for everything.
I couldn't even finish Episode 3 But that seems to be a reoccurring pattern for me with MOST of the garbage that is on TV, in the theatres, and on Satelite Radio, these days.
