Do not buy this game! I’ve finished it (reluctantly) after much willingness for it to end, and am not impressed. As someone who has never played Bioshock, I had nothing to compare it to, but honestly the trailer looked a lot more exciting than it was. The chase scenes become tedious and frustrating, especially when the main character doesn’t run nearly as fast enough or turn at the exact angles for you to escape quickly. The first scenes started quite creepy and I had high hopes, but after that, it became predictable and boring. This feels like a game you could complete in a few hours, but due to how slow everything moves and the lack of attention-grabbing content/cliffhangers, I often played one chapter and left the game for days, sometimes weeks, before coming back. Finally, I’m on an Xbox One and found a lot of glitches, including after getting to the end of a chapter and glitching out of a lift, and falling beneath the game into darkness (had to reload and start the chapter over.) I’m no game expert, but just did not enjoy this at all and would save your money. The most you do in the game is press buttons and pull levers, honestly.
