I love Jurassic Park as a great lover of dinosaurs. I saw the first movie in the cinema when it was first released. I had heard that the new film was worth a watch. Well if you have followed the franchise over the years you would recognise regurgitated scenes from the previous movies, from the dinosaur skeleton with the 'dinosaurs ruled the earth' banner falling to the baddy in a jeep travelling through the jungle to 'the docks' ...oh and of course trying to steal the limelight or should I say flarelight from Jeff Goldblum by doing the exact thing to distract the great big sortof dinosaur thing. They even threw in some genetic freaks (big sigh of frustration). The best bit was T-Rex, but he is always cool. Along with all this same old same old stuff there were annoying moments of soul searching. Please, I want dinosaurs, not human bonding and laboratory failures....just plain old dinosaurs. A bit disappointing.

I love my sci-fi and was looking forward to watching this but this is ridiculous. Firstly, is this the only spaceship in the world to deal with a mission to save the earth? Surely the crew would be selected according to their expertise and training but half of them march around like stroppy teenagers dressed to go out to a nightclub, seemingly with no specific roles. The plot has so many holes in it and is all over the place. Some of it is totally irrational and illogical. The dialogue is cliché and just plain poor. The scenes on earth are tedious and full of sentimental drivel .I think I would rather watch paint dry.
