When Mr. Fred Rogers passed away, some said that he didn't die, he just moved to another neighbourhood. Tom Hanks does a masterful job at channelling the spirit of Fred Rogers in this wonderful film that speaks to the adults we are now and the children that we once were. The message is the same, the secret to happiness is three things: kindness, kindness, and kindness. The world is a better place for both having had Mr. Fred Rogers in it, and the world of film is a better place for having this movie added to it.
Do yourself two favours. One, go see this film. Two, let yourself be yourself watching it, even if that is yourself as a child. Because, we were all children at one point and sometimes the only way to remember some lessons we need as adults and as people is to be a child again so we can learn again, and to love again.
Excellent job to you and your colleagues Mr. Hanks. You all did it!
