I have loved every AC games that’s came out, except Unity wasn’t my favorite. Not a bad game just wasn’t my thing. Origins is really fun, storyline is great. But the control for combat are a little, odd? The controls in Odyssey were much more fun in my opinion, as in origins the controls are kind of jumbled all together, took me a few days to realize overpower attacks and different abilities.
Origins and Odyssey both were immensely fun and creative, the fighting to assignations, to the open world and secrets. But neither of them tied into the Assassins vs. Templar’s story, atleast I haven’t seen it yet. Which it’s just my opinion, but it was always super fun to just fight and suddenly come across and join the Brotherhood, kind of like Ezio found out his dad was an assassin you know?
Still it’s a great game and a lot of fun, you do have to complete A LOT of side quests to level up, the set slot on main quests at really high levels, and it’s impossible to continue the main story if you don’t level up before hand. For instance I was level 14 and was completing a side quest, when I cam across another part of the main quest that’s Recommended Level 39. A little more balance would have made it more interactive and fun.
The Phylakes can get pretty annoying, there this group of crazy high level bounty hunters that are constantly after you, like one hit and your a goner. I think that should have been changed to what they did in Odyssey, how they had the different Tiers, and whoever came after you was around the same level or slightly higher, giving you a better chance at defeating them and putting up a decent fight.
All in all, it’s a beautiful and fun game that I’ve sank countless hours into. 4/5 definitely.
