Mel Hankinson

For 38 years of coaching & teaching on the undergraduate and graduate- level, I have written books, published articles in reputable journals, made comprehensive offensive & defensive videos for coaches and teachers (my books were in 25,000 high schools and used by 2,500 colleges), spoke at Bonn University, the Super Cup in Dortmund, Germany, as well as our Final Four in Denver, Colorado, but none of these presentations reached the comprehensive study level of Dr. Bunn's, Scientific Principles of Coaching. He provided the "Analytics" for today's game, but the technology did not exist to validate his findings. As a former tenured Assistant Professor and Coach at the highest level (the University of Iowa and West Virginia University), I give this book the highest rating for any person who wants to gain valuable knowledge in the field of coaching.
