Honestly, this book was great! Truly second to none, Linda Lee Chaikin does what she does best, and wove a fascinating, intriguing and realistic tale of truth, lies, love, war, religion and honour during the time of the Great Crusades! Anyone with a previous understanding and/or appreciation for reading, Scripture and the time period in which it was written, will enjoy this fun & lively read! Word of advice - give it your full attention & don't read it hastily or shallow-ly, lest you miss anything good, lol. Judging this book by its cover alone, would certainly be a mistake, with this book, indeed. Well done, Linda!
