I bought the dvds a few weeks ago. I did watch the series in the 60's. I liked David Vincent's character, his moxey, passion, his bravery in the face of death. I did think the writing could have been stronger,making David Vincent's behavior and actions more sensible and plausible. Such as: 1. Carrying a gun all the time. 2. Feeling strangers pulses before accompanying them and not just trusting their i.d. 3. In the Mutations, in one scene, an alien disintegrated and I believe his laser gun was tossed aside and Vincent didn't pick it up. 4. Although in season 2, a group of 7 formed to fight the aliens, I thought an appropriate ending would have been for all new believers from all the towns he visited To get together and warn the president.
