To be honest, I just don't get the critics sometimes. 94% on rotten tomatoes is extremely surprising. The movie was so predictable and clichèd and even annoying sometimes. There was nothing fresh about this, the main villain turned out to be the corporate lady which one who has seen enough movies could've seen or guessed from the start that it was either of the two who had been plotting this all along just to exact their revenge for something terrible that might have happened to them, it's all so clichèd. And the reason she gives of destroying superheroes name for good, just because someone didn't pick up her daddy's phone call late at night, it's so lame. I really wanted to see something fresh and original but it turned out to be the same old wine in a new bottle. Makes you wonder if the so called critics have a bias towards some production houses or directors. Although there's one positive lesson to take from this is that never trust other's opinion, check it out for yourself and then make your own mind. I guess people have different tastes and they like whatever suits or works for them, even if it is so damn disappointing.
