Not guilty!
The final verdict in John Grisham' s 1989 best-selling novel, A Time to Kill. The reason was insanity, a common legal alibi. It is a courtroom drama about the trial of a vigilante killer, Carl Lee Hailey, who’s ten-year-old daughter was raped and beaten half to death by two drugged and drunk white men. The black community in his hometown labelled him as a hero while the all-white jury thought otherwise. This racial discrimination story is still relatable to this day. Few years ago, a black person named George Floyd was killed by a white police officer which sparked the Black Lives Matter movement.
I am no lawyer but violence in whatever form, reason or color should NOT be tolerated.
