Of all the books I have read, this by far has the deepest thought. It is not meant to be read in a day. You have to pause and ponder. It is perfect for self – evaluation and reflection. Every man of the house should read it. My favorite quote in it is, “Live as if you were living the second time and had acted as wrongly the first time as you are about to act now”. Not guilty! The final verdict in John Grisham' s 1989 best-selling novel, A Time to Kill. The reason was insanity, a common legal alibi. It is a courtroom drama about the trial of a vigilante killer, Carl Lee Hailey, who’s ten-year-old daughter was raped and beaten half to death by two drugged and drunk white men. The black community in his hometown labelled him as a hero while the all-white jury thought otherwise. This racial discrimination story is still relatable to this day. Few years ago, a black person named George Floyd was killed by a white police officer which sparked the Black Lives Matter movement. I am no lawyer but violence in whatever form, reason or color should NOT be tolerated.

This book was recommended by a friend and said it was a good read. I thought this was about battling proscrastination, like a do-it-now and there is no tomorrow type of book. I was dead wrong. It is more of a spiritual book than self-help category. The Power of Now by values being Present and being In-The-Moment. Setting your mind and body in the Now. Being soaked in it. The past and even the future does not matter. Heck, it also talks about battling illness through the thought of healing. It's all in the mind as they say. How about that? Just like the netflix movie "The Last Dance", what separates Michael Jordan from the rest of the players is that - He is so in the moment. No other thought comes to his mind but the game that he loves. Sharing the joy of reading to you. I rate this book 3.5 out of 5 stars.

The book with the "catchy title" that makes you want to grab it off the shelf. This is a coming of age, self-help, feel-good type of book. I recommend it to all the youngsters in their teens and 20s out there. It is like a cologne with a fresh, fruity and minty fragrance rather than a musky, strong smell. For a person in slightly advanced years, this is still a relatable book. The author’s own life experience will make you say, "so that's what it was called.” The stories are funny with the use of a lot of F words. It tackles the messy young adult’s life until our inevitable death. No specific topic to be exact. Towards the end it was generic and with a little bit of feel good taste to it. I rate this book 3 out 5. Should I read Mark Manson's next book? I don’t think so. Should I watch the movie interpretation of this book on Netflix? Probably.

If you are expecting for a success story at the end, then this book is not it. The two main characters primarily failed to act. Michael Berg have not moved on in his early life's love affair and carried it all the way through his marriage. Second was that Hanna Schmitz effort to beat illeteracy was a bit too late. It was like reading and studying a lot and realizing there is still much that you don not know and time is running out. It is a good novel.

Good overview for investing. Topics are repeated especially if you have read other books from this author. I hope that the book would be more concise. You would read in almost every chapter or every few pages how rich dad bought a high end beach property.

A good detective book. Not for kids though.
