Likes: -great acting -interesting set up Dislikes -unnecessary sex scenes -poor lighting in several scenes,couldn't see facial expressions on actors -difficult to understand "Sam" half of the time -the theme of "sinners" wasn't explored -very slow plot progression, no vampires until over an hour in -most of the movie is spent getting things to open the bar, vampire fight scene was short -it was genre confused. Tried to be a musical, horror, drama, comedy, artsy fartsy time piece. Too incohesive. I would have loved it if each character was lured away by a vampire based on their "sinful" ways. (Ex. The drunk is lured to his death with alcohol, the adulterer lured away by seduction, ect) ultimately culminating in a more profound stand off between humans and vampires So much more could have been done with this movie

I think this movie has a deeper message that 99% of people haven't understood

This movie is meh. Majors is a great actor but he didn't get the best script to work with. Way too much disposition and hyping up of Kang only for Kang not to live up to the hype. I fell asleep because there was sooo much disposition. Alot of weird jokes that didn't land, similar to the last Thor movie. Overall it wasn't a bad movie but it wasn't great either. They didn't flesh out the story enough.

Ryan Coogler seemingly did The Impossible and I'm so proud of him. He did a great job pushing wakanda forward without Chadwick Boseman, he created an entertaining and engaging movie. And all of the actors and actresses did an amazing job. I can't wait to watch this again.

Movies like this make me want to learn how to write a movie script, it inspired me. I really enjoyed the storytelling, the suspense, the acting. All of it. I highly recommend giving this movie a watch, some of the trailers don't do this movie justice.

One of my favorite movies of all time. Great script, great directing, great acting.
