I liked it a lot. I'd never seen it before, but I thought the special effects for that time were terrific. In the extras they mentioned the movie Tron. I had a teen age step son during the late 2000's and I told him, since he was all into computers that he should watch Tron, I told him to keep in mind that for the time the movie was made, the special effects were state of the art and to keep a open mind. He got hooked. I think he would be hooked on this movie also. If you don't like the actors because you think they are too old or because the dialog is a little stale, still keep a open mind and look at the special effects they were doing at that time and how different it was then to today. Not to mention the unforgettable movie score. Yes, I would recommend watching The Black Hole. I think if your a movie buff, you will like it, alot.
