The show itself is fine for a story if the sorry had been made up. BUT!!! I am giving this 1 star because I don't feel criminals should be sensationalized. According to 30/20 Anns spent 3.5 years in jail and was paod 300k for her crime story on Netflix. Most people don't make 100K a year, why should a con-artist in jail? She was paid more money in jail than she stole... 😑 Netflix shouldn't sensationalize criminals, and essentially make a con-artists who want to be rich and famous, more rich and famous. I am sure there are poor people who aren't criminals who would spend a year in jail for 100k. People do it for free in 60 days in. I would have given this show a better rating if the criminal didn't turn a profit in jail via Netflix.

It is excellent; the show does a fantastic job. They get really in-depth with the storyline. The puppets are beautiful. I think Jim Henson would approve and be impressed with this prequel. I am so glad that they went with making puppets over using CGI characters or making the whole thing a cartoon. The work they put into the show made it something extraordinary. They really captured what the original movie did. It is definitely a must-see show even if you have never seen the original, you should give the movie a try. Since so many people on here are giving and "out of 10" rating and it's not a 10/10 they are wrong. I don't think they comprehend the amount of work that goes into a production like this, and I feel that they couldn't have done a better job. If a "review" is being nit picky over extremely minor details that wouldn't really made a difference overall, they are just sad. They basically did a perfect job with this show. I hope all the people who worked on it feel incredibly proud because it is a big success. I would love for them to make a part 2 running straight up against the movie timeframe or another prequel from before the darkening of the crystal and when the crystal brakes and loses the shard in the first place.
