So terrible! A bunch of wasted character development about the son, an odd, almost comical rendition of Rasputin, dancing during the fight scenes, slow, slow, slow until the last 1/4 of the film when the action actually started. What a disappointment!

This movie has been on for about an hour, and I am SO bored. Too bad there is not a minus 1 star. Flat characters, especially Johnny Depp's. There is nothing even remotely interesting going on. It's not scary either. Is it supposed to be? Fake looking sets. Music that often sounds comedic, like you'd hear in a Columbo episode. That kissing scene early in the film is grotesque. Get those two some kissing lessons! And the director let that through the dailies?? My advice, preserve your precious time for something actually entertaining. Surely there are better ways to spend your time!
