The artistic creativity was fantastic, character designs were good and some even memorable, did have alot of shock and sensationalized versions of the hood life, but as someone who's bared witness and even had to deal with run down places full of gangs and all sorts of crime, it's impressive how oddly real it felt at time, it a great premise but I feel like the raising action and climax was a bit under whelming and was kinda hoping for something more.
*Slight spoilers warning*
While they never waisted or flopped on their concepts, they did bring up a few things that I hoped they'd actually bring more focus on, such as what Angelino and Luna are as "Hybrids", and I could be miss reading but I think they were hinting but hard to tell if Luna is Angelino's missing mom or was just a vague resemblance, and I kinda wished we explored a little more of the luchadors and their role as "Guardians" a little longer.
*end of spoilers*
I enjoyed it but I'm only giving it 3 stars cause I felt like despite how much potential and how amazing it was, its average story telling brought it down.
