It promised everything I love: Strong women characters. Raucous humor. Lavish settings and costumes. A period peice.
To call it disappointing would be a compliment. Gratuitous sex and slow-moving, I considered walking out. I stayed, waiting for the "wow factor" that earned it 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Instead, it was 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.
