Yall need to chill about the biblical stuff, this show wasn't made to propagate children, and children are not as gullible as you think even if that was the case. This wasn't made as an anti religious shtick, it was made to make an edgy quirky show about quirky characters that this rich girl dreamed up as a teenager. You're taking this waaayyyy too seriously.
That leads to the point of my review. The concept is great, and I love the idea of a hell that has a yearly extermination and the rings & classes such as hellborn demons, sinners, and overlords. However, I feel like the show has been ruined by Vivienne's personal biases and taste, for example the character designs are so complicated and they all look very similar, all have suits and sharp teeth with a similar color scheme, they all have very exaggerated and OC-coded personalities.. what's next, she's gonna start calling them blorbos or whatever? The designs are way too complicated for an animated series, as an animator myself I'd want to be payed double for any animation role on this show. The writing + characters are cringeworthy and would only really appeal to a tweenage/teenage audience, (yet this feels to amateurish to me, a teenager) but this show is literally made for adults.. like look at the writing of the 5 star reviews, they're definitely written by someone under 18. The depiction of heaven and biblical figures is laughable... the twinkification and still-rampant cussing shows that vivienne can literally only write and design one type of character, and it's really embarrassing. Like, she couldn't even make cool angels or anything formal, she stuck to what she knew; skinny little gay guys with sharp teeth who curse a lot. It is SO embarrassing. Also, they whitewashed saint Peter.
