thank you Cori Owen for your review re: looking into hormone replacement. i have had ME since my early 20s. i'm 59 now.
so grateful for this film finally depicting what i have (albeit milder than jennifer brea). i cried at the end of the film. i've been trying to explain my life to friends and family for years!
and early on, an alternative doctor prescribed transdermal DHEA and testosterone. said my #s were very low.
i felt immediately better. do the extent i was able to pretty much function. but now that i've been fully menopausal, it's worse again.
we're all different, those of us with ME/CFS, but maybe hormones will help me again.
i don't think it's the cor answer (i think mitochondria has something to do with that), but i do think it could help me. thank you so much for posting / for the reminder! you maybe have changed at least one human's life :)
