I really wanted to give 5 stars ✨, The acting was phenomenal for the budget allowed showing the plight of South Africans who love to dance despite economic restrictions still finding a way. Like many struggling in poverty in every country there are clicks and tribes that don't get along. But they found a common ground we all could learn a lesson from... it wasn't killing each other.. It was fighting with their dance moves... It was real and believable... There's a great message in this movie.. But I wish the director could have thought about every dance off being inundated with whistling how that would affect the viewer. It drowns out the music soundtrack and forced me to put the volume all the way down and turn on captions. But. I highly recommend this series anyway and you may love the whistling . But to much was too much for me! I hope there is a season two... Because I'm definitely hooked!
